These Terms govern your use of electricvehicleshq.com ("EVHQ", "the site"). By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information.
2. Using the site
You may read, share links to and personally use EVHQ content. You agree not to: scrape or bulk-copy the site or tools; interfere with security or performance; use the site for anything unlawful; or misrepresent EVHQ content as your own. You must be at least 13 to create a member account, and you're responsible for keeping your login secure.
3. Information, not advice
EVHQ publishes general information and editorial analysis about electric vehicles, charging, incentives and EV-related companies. Nothing on the site is investment, financial, tax, legal or professional advice. Stock and market coverage — including weekly EV stock round-ups — is for information only; it is not a recommendation to buy or sell any security. Talk to a qualified professional before making financial, tax or legal decisions.
4. Tools give estimates
Which EV is right for me?, the EV vs gas cost calculator and similar tools use your inputs plus public data (for example EPA efficiency ratings and published energy prices) and simplifying assumptions. Results are estimates. Real-world range, prices, electricity and fuel costs, incentives, availability and suitability vary. Always confirm prices with the seller, incentives with the IRS or your state/utility, and specs with the manufacturer.
5. Accuracy and corrections
We work to keep content accurate and dated, and we correct errors (see our corrections policy). But EV prices, incentives and specs change quickly, and we can't guarantee every page is current or complete.
6. Your submissions
If you send us tips, comments or other content, you confirm you have the right to share it and grant EVHQ a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use it in connection with the site (for example to quote a reader question). Don't send confidential information you don't want us to use. We may remove any user content at our discretion.
7. Intellectual property
The EVHQ name, logo, design, articles, graphics and tools are owned by Electric Vehicles HQ or its licensors and protected by copyright and trademark law. Brand names and vehicle names belong to their owners and are used for identification only; EVHQ is not affiliated with or endorsed by any automaker unless stated. If you believe content on EVHQ infringes your copyright, email contact@electricvehicleshq.com with the details.
8. Advertising and third-party links
EVHQ is supported by advertising, including Google AdSense. Ads are labeled and don't influence our editorial conclusions. Links to other sites are provided for convenience; we don't control and aren't responsible for their content, products or policies.
9. Disclaimers
The site and tools are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, EVHQ and its editor won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on site content or tool results — including decisions to buy, lease, finance, invest or install equipment. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to $100. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona and applicable U.S. federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Arizona, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.

We may update these Terms. The effective date above shows the latest version; continuing to use the site means you accept the updated Terms.
