What is the cheapest new EV in 2026?

Entry-level EVs from Nissan, Hyundai, and Chevrolet currently offer the lowest MSRPs in the 2026 US market, generally starting around the low-to-mid $30,000s before any state incentives.

Do EV prices drop throughout the year?

Historically yes — most automakers adjust EV pricing quarterly in response to demand, inventory, and competitive pressure. This tracker updates daily so you can spot the dip on the model you want.

Does the EV Price Tracker include state incentives?

Prices shown are base MSRP before state incentives or dealer adjustments. For state-by-state rebates and tax credits, consult the EVHQ State EV Incentive Tracker.

Are EV prices higher now that the federal tax credit expired?

Effective out-of-pocket cost rose for many buyers when the $7,500 federal credit expired September 30, 2025. Some automakers have absorbed part of the gap through incentives or price cuts, but state-level programs are now the primary savings tool.
